Executive Conference Appointments
Tuesday, July 14
10:30am – 12:30pm Part I
1:30pm – 3:30pm Part 2

Executive Conference Appointments will take place on Tuesday, July 14. A total of 10 twenty-minute sessions are available with five appointments before lunch and five appointments after lunch. Executive Conferences are unique, face-to-face sessions between manufacturers and distributors, providing a valuable opportunity for trading partners to discuss key elements of their business relationship. Distributors will host tables to discuss ongoing business issues or new business opportunities with manufacturers.

An appointment calendar to help you schedule your conferences will be sent to you once you register for the Safety Leadership Forum. An attendee list will be posted on the SEDA web site so you can schedule your appointments; manufacturers and distributors are responsible for making appointments in advance. Take advantage of this excellent opportunity to meet face-to-face with the top management of your key trading partners.

Guidelines for Executive Conference Appointments

  • Conferences should be scheduled in advance by either manufacturers or distributors.

  • An AGENDA outlining the intended topics of discussion and purposes of the meeting should be prepared by the individual making the appointment. Email the agenda to your appointment representative prior to the conference.

  • Appropriate executive conference topics include: prior year’s sales growth, new marketing initiatives, strategic sales and marketing goals.

  • Make the most of your conferences. Limit discussion to agenda items only. Use free time for social visits.

  • Executive conferences are set for 20 minutes, with travel time, but you can book double time slots in advance if both parties are in agreement.

  • The executive conferences exist as a chance to discuss problems, concerns and opportunities between distributors and suppliers. Selling of products is not allowed. Please be sure to take advantage of this valuable opportunity by preparing in advance for your conference.
